George Ory David, Jr., 88, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Wednesday March 3, 2010 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in WWII. He was an avid dancer and golfer. He is survived by his wife Jeanne C. David of Cardiff, Wales; daughter Karen Chaisson; sons: Paul R. David and Jeffrey C. David; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother Marcus David and wife Janice, sister Joan Clements and husband Al, and sister-in-law Lorraine David. George is preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret David; grandson Brennan David; 2 brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on March 5, 2010 from 8:30AM until time of services at 12:00PM. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Heritage Manor Nursing Home for their loving care of George.
