

Geraldine “Jerri” Cangelosi, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at the age of 73. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, decorating, gardening, spending time with family, and taking care of her beloved dogs. She was known for saying, “Don’t make any plans for me, I don’t have any schedules or appointments.” She was a sassy, feisty, and independent woman, but yet was a caring and loving woman, she provided a hand to those who were in need. Geraldine is survived by her two daughters, Toni Lee and Tina Cangelosi; grandchildren, Taylor Lee Goudeau and Blaine Lee; sisters, Debbie Breen and Susan Hutton; nieces, Amanda Breen, Chelsea Breen, and Brandy Hutton; and her beloved dogs, Casper, Prince, Max, Bandit, Bella, and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Cangelosi, Jr., and her parents, Leonard and Rose Hernandez. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, LA 70726 on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Frank Uter. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Blaine Lee, Mark Lee, Korey Goudeau, Tejus Sheth, Gage Thomas, Leon Atkins, Jr., Carlo Cangelosi, and Ricky Holloway.
