Gladys Taylor Mays, a native of Benton and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family Friday, February 13, 2015 at the age of 91. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd on Sunday, February 15, 2015 from 2:00 PM until funeral services in the chapel at 4:00 PM officiated by Rev. Terry Ellis. Mrs. Mays is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Royce Beauchamp and Janet and Keith Montgomery; a grandson, Joshua Taylor Beauchamp. Preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Donald Mays, six sisters, three brothers and her parents. She was a long time member of Broadmoor Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Baton Rouge, 9063 Siegen Lane, Suite A, Baton Rouge, LA 70810.
