A resident of Baton Rouge, and a native Vietnam, he was 80. He passed away October 17, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center. He was a retired teacher. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday October 19, 2011 from 5pm to 9pm, Friday October 21, 2011 form 5pm to 9pm and Saturday October 22, 2011 from 8am to 9am. Mass at St.
Anthony Catholic Church on Saturday October 22, 2011, at 10am. Interment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. He is survived by his wife Nhiem Thi Tran, five daughters Kieuhanh Thi Vu, Thanhnhan Thi Vu, Kieuoanh Thi Vu, Long-Khanh Ai Thi Vu and Toan-Thuong than Vu, two sons Luan Cong Vu and Hoan Cong Vu, two son-in-laws Canh Van Nguyen and Hoan Quang Dinh, and two daughters-in-law Hue Ngoc Thi and Nhung Pham Thi. He was preceded in death by a son An Cong Vu. He was a member of St. Anthony and Le Van Phung Parish, Thanh Vien Lien Minh Thanh Tam, Le Bao Tinh High School teacher, Truong Ty Chieu Hoi, Nhan Trach District.
