Harry J. "Joey" Bauer Jr., a resident of Sunshine, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at his home. He was 51 and a native of Baker. He was a loving father and husband and a civil superintendent for K.B.R. for more than 15 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of the NRA. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 825 Government St., Friday, June 3, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Arceneaux Bauer; daughter, Camille Bauer and son, Taylor Edgens; mother, Berena Bauer; sister, Jan Bauer; two brothers, John Bauer, and Alvin Bauer and wife Tammy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Harry J. Bauer Sr.; and nephew, Joshua Bauer. Pallbearers will be Taylor Edgens, John David Cambre Jr. Chris Parker, Alvin Bauer, Troy Arceneaux, Timmy Arceneaux and Mark Arceneaux. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Bauer, Lance Arceneaux, Wesley Little, Michael Bauer, Landon Bauer and Braedyn Segura. >
