
Henry H. "Cotton" Hill, 91, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on March 14, 1922 and was known most of his life as "Cotton." Cotton worked for the Ethyl Corporation for 39 years before retirement. Cotton is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years Erline S. Dean Hill; father Frank E. and mother Alfreda P. Hill; brothers Frank W. "Blackie" Hill; William T. "Willie" Hill; Don C. "Puddin" Hill; sister Freda M. Reed; and stepson Bryan W. "Cookie" Dean. He is survived by son, Randy H. and wife Patsy; daughter, Tara H. and husband Stan Dark; stepson, George B. Dean and wife Amanda; and daughter-in-law, Sharon Dean. He had 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home Downtown on Tuesday September 3, 2013. Visitation will be from 10:00 "“ 11:00 am with a graveside service at Roselawn Cemetery. Friends and family are invited.
