"Hilda Landry Pennington passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at the age 86, she was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Central, LA. She is survived by her children Daryl Pennington (wife Fran), Bonnie Jeffers (friend Johnny Sanchez); daughter-in-law Gina Sterba; grandchildren Michelle Caston, Michael Pennington, Roman Jeffers, Brandon Pennington, Blake Pennington, Bryan Pennington, and Lacey Ball; 16 great grandchildren; and one sister Irma Laird. Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Cecil Pennington; son Ronald Pennington; parents Joseph Philip and Ruth Evidge Landry; brothers Woodrow and Garland Landry; sisters Maude Amorello, Shirley Denham, and Garnett Landry. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Rabenhorst East, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 5PM until 8PM and resuming at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd., Greenwell Springs, LA on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 12PM until 1PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1PM with interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to St. Vincent de Paul.
