
Isabella "Bella" Marr Bowman, 8, a student of The Dunham School, peacefully became an Angel early Friday morning, Dec. 23, 2011. Bella is now free from all illnesses, playing, running, jumping and smiling. She had a natural talent of giving belief, faith, courage and strength to so many. Bella communicated power with only a stare. She has touched the lives of so many people. We will miss her talent, but never forget it. Preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Jennie 'Nan' Marr Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Ovila Henry Panneton (Nanny and Pop-Pop), Dr. and Mrs. W.E. Pennington, David L. Bowman, Mr. and Mrs. Guido Joseph Marchio; and grandparents, Alexander G. Novas (Papa) and Aunt Nita and Louise Walker, Coco and Max. Bella is survived by her proud parents, David 'Trey' Livingstone Bowman III and Kimberly Panneton Bowman; sister, Baylor Elizabeth Bowman; grandparents, David Livingstone Bowman II and Janet Pennington Bowman, Sharon Ann Novas, Ovila Clyde and Ruth Panneton; uncles, aunts and cousins: Ami Marie and Matthew Killen, Aidan Hebert, Alec Hebert, Brittany Killen, Alexander G and Cathy Novas Jr., Jake Novas, Auntie Pam Rock, Michael and Tracy Rock, Jason and Julianna Rock, Joey and Jessica Rock, Charles Rock, Cheryl and Steven Broyles, Jessica Knight, Justin Knight, John and Ali Knight, Larry Pennington, Matthew and Tracie Pennington, Sandy Haley, Michele Gumm, Stephanie Gumm; and many cousins from the Belcher, Behrnes, Bowman, McCollister, Newsom and Shirley families. Memorial services for Bella will be at First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Katie McKay Simpson, the Message from Pastor Kim Little-Brooks, and Comforting Words by Brother Bill Compton. Graveside service to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Bella's father, David L. Bowman III, David L. Bowman II, Ovila Clyde Panneton and Alexander G.
