James (Jim) Maye, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Central passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Saturday December 12, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, June C. Maye; children, Kenneth Maye and wife, Lee, Scott Maye, and Melissa Maye and husband, Tommy Comeaux; grandchildren, Lindsay Maye Coulter and husband, David, Jonathan Maye, Robert Maye, Logan Fife, and Gavin Carline; great-grandchildren, Jayden Willis, Jonathan Maye, Jr., Layla Coulter; brother, Larry Maye; sisters, Patricia Roberts and Karen Armand. He was preceded in death by his parents, James M. Maye and Ruth Sconza. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 9 a.m. until Funeral Service at 10 a.m. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park.
