James Prescott Stuart

"Born on 5-5-1961 in Baton Rouge, LA to the late Evander Morgan Stuart and Myrthe Baker Stuart.  Prescott left for his heavenly home on his 56th birthday 5-5-17.  He leaves behind the love of his life his wife Pamela Newburn Bradford Stuart, 4 brothers James M. Graves, Joseph Y. Stuart, Michael O. Stuart and Glenn P. Graves. 2 sisters Victoria Graves Lee & Terri "Pooky" L. Johnston husband Mark Johnston, brother & sister in law Bryan & Mary Picard. 8 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins and friends. Pres was outgoing, loved people, never afraid to reach out to others who were going through tough times. He had a big personality. many adventures in his life and was a renowned chef in Destin FL at one point in his life.   An intelligent man, he had a way with words. A great storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor. His love and kindness towards his wife's family did not go unnoticed and he was loved all the more. His greatest feat was accepting Jesus in his heart and today he is rejoicing with the Lord.  Prescott was preceded in death by his parents, step mother Judy Graves Stuart, brother E.M. "Van" Stuart, sister Mary Morgan Stuart. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst East, 11100 Florida Blvd, on Sunday, May 7, from 5 to 9 pm.  It will resume on Monday at Faith Baptist Chuch, 30993 Highway 16, Denham Springs, at 2 pm until service at 3 pm. Burial in church cemetery.
