Janice Guitreau Falcon

A native and resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2007. She was 67. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday Nov. 28, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 2305 Choctaw Drive, on Thursday from 9 a.m. until Mass at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Francis Minh Hai Nguyen, celebrant. She was a devoted homemaker and is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bernie P. Falcon, Baton Rouge; and sister, Lynn G. Judice, Baton Rouge; seven children and their spouses, Kim Falcon Martinez and Richard Martinez, of Wimberley, Texas, Doug and Mona Falcon, and Kris Falcon, all of Baton Rouge, Dean and Lisa Falcon, of Watson, Danny and Alicia Falcon, of New Orleans, David and Kelli Falcon, of Port Allen, and Dale Falcon of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Drake and Brody Falcon, Mila and Emma Martinez and Courtney and Brittney Falcon; three stepgrandchildren, Michael and Marcus Allen and Niki Lord; special neighbors, Ivory Lee and Rebecca Magitt and their families; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Lula Matherne Guitreau; a sister, Dianne Guitreau; and grandparents, Aristle and Marie Guitreau and Clement and Clarice Matherne. She will always be remembered by those who loved her for her kindness and generosity, and her constant strength and devotion to her family.
