"A native and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Janis Ann Rogillio Dannenberg passed away at Heritage Manor on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 66. Janis is survived by her husband, William L. Dannenberg of Baton Rouge, LA; two sons, William P. Dannenberg of Reno, NV and Daniel S. Dannenberg of Mesa, AZ; two brothers, Ron Rogillio of WV and Scott Rogillio of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren; two nephews and one niece. She was preceded in death by her father, E.R. Rogillio and her mother, L.C. Rogillio. Janis was a member of First United Methodist Church and attended LSU for four years. She was a Cub Scout leader, loved nature and camping, and dogs. Janis particularly enjoyed learning about plantation history and living. As per the family's request, private graveside services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the LSU Endow an Oak fund, Mike the Tiger Habitat Fund or the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).
