A native of Crowley, La and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 65. She was an employee of Moran Printing. She was a graduate of Louisiana School for the Deaf. She is survived by her mother, Callie M Fruge, two daughters, Anita Scott and husband Jesse and Denise Bennett and husband Robert; one son, James Oglethorpe; two sisters, Debra Kraemer and husband Norris and Judy Watson and husband Steve; one brother, Thomas Fruge; six grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin Oglethorpe; Jessica and Sydney Scott; Joe Wade Bennett, and Tianna Oglethorpe; and one great grandchild, Madison Scott. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Fruge; and husband David Oglethorpe. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 5pm to 9pm, and on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 10am until service at noon, followed by a celebration of her life at Greenoaks Celebration Center. Interment will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
