He exemplified a loving, generous, life of service to the Lord, his family and others and he will be greatly missed.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandra Black Simpson; daughter, Stephanie Simpson Boudreaux, (husband, John) and son Tim Simpson, (wife, Shelley). Jerry was the proud “Poppa” to 6 grandchildren: Maggie, Libby and John Lawson Boudreaux and Ethan, Gideon and Corban Simpson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd Earl and Ollie Mae Simpson along with 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
The family would like to thank Sunrise for their superb care of “Mr. Jerry”. A memorial service to honor Jerry’s life will be held at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home on Sunday, April 24.
