

Joseph Robert McCall, lll, “Bobby” born in New Orleans and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on October 8, 2017 at the age of 72. Bobby was an avid fisherman and proud LSU tiger. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family. As quarterback for Catholic High School, he was tough as nails yet never felt the need to raise his voice. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Airforce and then worked for many years as an electrical engineer at Jacobs. He fought Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s for seven years but it never broke his spirit.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph McCall ll “Mac” and Clare Foret McCall “Gran.”
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rebecca “Becky” Nugent McCall and his sister, Linda McCall McCann, three daughters, Kimberly McCall Ardoin and husband, Alton, Jody McCall Emonet and husband Scott, Lauren McCall Fitch and husband Derek. He was the proud grandparent of eight grandchildren, namely Bryce, Austin, McCall, Brooks, Davis, Beckett, Rivers and Adley.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:00am to 10:00am. Funeral Service at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s of Baton Rouge. The family would like to thank all the people that took care of Bobby in his final years.
