
Josephine Rinaudo Laquerre was born Sept. 17, 1922, and passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Landmark Nursing Home. She was 84, born in Shreveportand a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Henri R. Laquerre. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Tuesday, March 20, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7:15 p.m. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. David Allen, celebrant, assisted by her grandson, Deacon Michael Alello. Interment inGreenoaksMemorial Park. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert H. and Cathy Laquerre of Baton Rouge; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Jeff Alello of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, Christopher R. Laquerre and wife Stephanie of Prairieville, Amie M. Arnold and husband Michael of Loranger, and David Alello and his fiancée, Monica Guidry, and Deacon Michael Alello, all of Baton Rouge; great-granddaughter, Mallory Arnold; four sisters, Marie Johnson, Theresa Alello, Seraphine Coleman and Lenora Wilkinson; and brother, John J. Rinaudo Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin S. and Nora Rinaudo; four brothers, Frank, Joseph, Martin Jr. and Sam Rinaudo. Pallbearers will be Christopher R. Laquerre, David Alello, Michael Arnold, Lee and Daryl Wilkinson and Thomas Deen. Honorary pallbearer is Amie M. Arnold.
