Juanita Pourciau

Juanita M. Pourciau, a resident of Denham Springs, LA., passed away at the age of 93 on September 21, 2025. She was born October 29th, 1931, in St. Amant (the lake), Gonzales, LA., to her parents Emile and Erna Millet. She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and friends. Ms. Juanita was a beautician for many years; after she retired, she enjoyed bowling and dancing. She is survived by her daughters; Judy Bueche (Phil), Sheila Smith (Bobby); her sons, Marty Pourciau (Angella) and Daryl Pourciau (Jean); and her sister, Geneva Hubbard’ grandchildren, Jeanne Mayers, Jamie Schlichter, David Bueche, Misty Clayton, Chad Pourciau, Natalie Andrade and Lane Pourciau; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joesph (Joe) Pourciau, parents, Emile and Erna Millet and brother, Marvin. Pallbearers will be, Lane Pourcieau, Chad Pourciau, Mason Mayers, Daniel Elhamed and Dylan McClellan.

Visitation will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Monday, September 29th, 2025, from 9:00 am until service time of 10:00 am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
