Judith Owens Hernandez

Judith Owens Hernandez passed away on Saturday, April 11th, 2015, in Gonzalez, LA, with her children by her side. She was born on September 11, 1942, in Baton Rouge, LA, to Walter "Buck" Owens and Malvina Melancon Owens. Judith was a family-oriented, loving, and caring woman who always put others interests ahead of her own. Her family and friends admired the strength, courage, and faith she portrayed each day. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her daughter Robin M. Brown and husband Craig Brown, sons Todd Michael, Randy Michael, and Glenn Michael, grandchildren Shay Michael, Amber Michael, Aryn Michael Marchand, great-grandsons Kason Bowlin, Kaden Hansen and sister Patsy Moreau. She was preceded in death by her husband Fabian C. Hernandez, parents Walter and Malvina Owens, sisters Loretta Prescott and Alice Hattaway and also by her brother Walter "Roy" Owens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home 825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA. from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Second visitation will be on Wednesday, April 15 at St. John Catholic Church in Prairieville, LA. from 9:30 AM till 11:00AM, with Mass and burial following at Prairieville Cemetery.
