Judy Sue McQueen

Mrs. Judy Sue McQueen, a resident of Baker, LA, passed away February 9, 2024 at the age of 61. She was born in Independence to parents, Clinton and Marie Cambre on July, 22, 1962. Mrs. McQueen was a graduate of Istrouma High and worked in Sales Operations for Shell Oil Company. She had a love for LSU Football and Baseball, Mardi Gras, especially the Spanish Town Parade and her beloved fur baby Ruckus.

She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, James McQueen; daughter, Jacquelyn McQueen; son, Joseph McQueen; grandchildren, Jase McQueen, Brielle McQueen and Beaux McQueen; sisters, Cynthia Guilbeau (Bob), Ruth Whitehead (Ellis); brothers, Wayne Cambre (Donna Kay), Harrell Cambre, Darryl Cambre (Sherri); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death are her parents, Clinton and Marie Cambre; and father-in-law, Bo McQueen.

Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, Sunday, February, 18, 2024 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Visitation will continue, Monday, February, 19, 2024 at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd. Baker, LA. from 9:30 am until Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
