Julie Thomas Lamana

Julie T. Lamana, 62, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center - Bluebonnet. Julie dedicated her life to raising her children. Her family was the center of her world. Julie was a free spirit who made her own rules. She had a witty sense of humor and a contagious smile. Julie was an avid reader, a brilliant writer/ author, and a talented artist. She had a special love for her plants and gardening, and spent countless hours nurturing them.

Although new in her journey with the Lord, Julie was pursuing her walk and was learning more and more how much the Lord loved her. She was baptized on October 27, 2023 with family and friends. Julie leaves behind to cherish her memories, her daughters; Mandy Chaney (Doug Chaney), Britney Bailey (Ron Bailey), Alyx Navarra (Ryan Navarra), sons; Devan Siefford (Staci Siefford), Samuel Lamana, brothers; Todd Thomas, Scott Thomas, grandchildren; Ethan Chaney, Chloe Chaney Madi Chaney, lan Siefford, John Siefford, Autumn Siefford, Mason Bailey, Miles Bailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harley and Mildred Thomas, sons Ryan Siefford and lan Siefford, and her paternal and maternal grand-parents

Her Kindness, warmth, and love for both her family and the natural world will be deeply missed by all who knew her. We will always carry your memory in our hearts. We love you mom.

A celebration of life will be held for Julie on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Galilee Baptist Church from 2:00-4:00pm. Julie didn't like to dress up and loved being comfy, so keep it casual.
