
One's life has value so long as one attributes value to the life of others, by means of love, friendship and compassion. A homemaker and a bus driver for the East Baton Rouge Parish school system, she died Wednesday, June 6, 2007, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor at the age of 87. She was a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until the religious service at noon. Entombment will be in St. George Catholic Church Mausoleum. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy Triche and Marilyn Evans; son, Joseph Alvin Triche Jr.; five grandchildren, Kristen Triche Bevilacqua, Jodi Triche Mortillaro, Leigh Triche Janous, Mason Alvin Evans and Monique Evans Fitzpatrick; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Alvin Triche Sr.; her parents and two brothers. Pallbearers will be Danny Bevilacqua, Tommy Mortillaro, Bill Janous, Chris Fitzpatrick, Hugh Ramirez and David Simmons. She attended LSU and was a member of Homemakers Club of Baton Rouge. The family would like to thank Ollie Steele Burden Manor and most of all the employees for all they have done.
