A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 8:32 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 90 and a native of White Castle. Visiting at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her two daughters, Claudia K. Starkey and Charlene K. Brooks; two sons, Tommy L. Kennedy and Ted W. Kennedy; sister, Ann LeBlanc; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Diane Kennedy; and special friend, Barbara Vautrot. Preceded in death by her husband, Fleet William Kennedy; son, Michael J. Kennedy; parents, sisters, brothers, and grandson, Todd Kennedy. Arrangements by Rabenhorst Funeral Home East.
