
A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, April 29, 2011, at her daughter's home in Prairieville. She was 83. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a recitation of the rosary at 5:30 p.m. Visiting at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church on Monday, May 2, from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Lee is survived by two daughters, Sandra Benedetto and husband Larry, and Cathy Cooper; two granddaughters, Andrea Sheridan and Suzanne Babin; two grandsons, Shayne Benedetto and wife Mallory, and Marshall Smith; and seven great-grandchildren, Drake, Devon, Saje, Jaden, Justus, Ja'dince and Ritter. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sheridan; parents, Tina and Santo Marchiafava; sisters, Anne Paris, Mary Alu, Theresa Masci, Grace Ferro and Lucy Kliebert; and brothers, Ross, Charlie and Frank Marchiafava and Tony, Joe and Johnny Maggio. Pallbearers will be Larry Benedetto, Shayne Benedetto, Fargo Ferguson, Devon Sheridan, Drake Smith and Marshall Smith. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Francis of Assisi and Father Maynard Hurst Kaycee Auxiliary.
