Levie Jane Mashburn Dutsch passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. She was a 1961 graduate of Provine High School in Jackson, MS. She earned her B.S. in Education from the Mississippi University for Women. She retired from Denham Springs High School after 25 years of teaching. Following retirement, she enjoyed being a substitute teacher at Parkview Baptist School. She was a longtime member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church. She enjoyed cheering on her son-in-law’s football teams and watching her granddaughter do the things she loves. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Dutsch, her parents, Kade and Lula Mae Mashburn, her sister, Mary Lou Mashburn. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law Ellen and Ben Beasley, of Lake Charles; granddaughter, Sarah Jane Beasley; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Charlotte Dutsch, of Allentown, Pa.; nieces, Pat Weaver and Michelle Childers; nephews, Gary Dutsch, Bob Dutsch and Michael Dutsch; and numerous cousins. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Monday, Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. until services at noon, conducted by Bro. Joey Beeson with music provided by Lynette Dutsch. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Serving as pallbearers will be Troy L. Mashburn, Troy Watts Mashburn, Jr, Tim Mashburn, Bob Dutsch, Brian Lively, Jeremy Lively. Special thanks to her Ladies group, Pat Jenkins, Julia Lively and her boys, and the Dugas family.
