Lucy Mancuso Nola

A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, long-time resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Plaquemine, she died Friday, June 19, 2015 at St. Clare Manor. She was 94 year old. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd. from 10:30 a.m. until funeral services at 12:30 p.m. , conducted by the Rev. Sam Maranto. Burial immediately following at St. George Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by two sons, Basil (B.J.) Nola and special friend Gladie Lalonde, Mike Nola and wife Mary, daughter Paulette Nola Townsend and husband Jeff. Grandson Paul and wife Jennifer, great-grandsons Nicholas and Luke Nola. Also survived by nieces and godchild, Virginia "Be Bee" Morales and Elizabeth 'Boo" Collins and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by Laura Landry Nola, wife of deceased grandson Jeff. Preceded in death by husband Paul Nola and parents, Angelo and Virginia Mancuso, brother Placito "Red" Mancuso, sister Sue Mancuso Ragusa, grandson Jeff Nola and special friend, Joe Purpera. Pallbearers will be: Paul Nola, Glynn Nola, Vince "Bubba" Nola, Bob Burton, Angelo Mancuso and Jeff Townsend.
