Born February 18, 1919, Pauline was the third child of John Hamilton Walker and Lula Clare Schrader of Eurania and Crowley, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana Business College and married Joseph Bergeron in 1939. She is survived by her only child Susan Bergeron Legler and husband Charles Legler, of Mallemont, France; five grandchildren: Kimen Peterson, the mother of Pauline's two great grandchildren, and her husband Bryce of London, England; Casey Legler of New York; Charlcie Legler of Botswana; Todd Legler of France; and Cannelle Legler of New York; one sister: Louise Heidelberg of Foley, Alabama; two brothers: John Walker and Henry Walker of Pollock, Louisiana; three step-children: Robert, Danny and Janice; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by one brother and two sisters and also by her first husband Daniel Joseph Bergeron and her second husband Grover Harper. Surrounded by her caregivers and friends, Mary McMains, Buddy and Sue Price, and stepson Robert and Sherry Harper, as well as the valiant doctors and nurses of the ICU unit of BRGH, Pauline found peace in her strong Christian beliefs and left this life on November 6, 2014.
