Lula Wanda Lee "Mama Lou" Brown went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at age 82. A native of Black Oak, Ark., and a resident of Denham Springs, she is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Paulette Barber, Patsy Chapman, Vickie and Greg Smith, and Janie Craven; daughters-in-law, Betty and Nancy Bailey; 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special 4-legged child, Tinker Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brown; parents, Joseph and Lillian Yates; sons, Danny and Johnny Bailey; and daughter, Carolyn Lovett. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Monday, Nov. 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will resume Tuesday from 10 a.m. until religious services at noon. Burial will be in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
