Lynette McDempsey passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 82. She enjoyed watching church services, reading her Bible, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family and her dog. Lynette is survived by her children, Penny McDempsey (Darren Simoneaux), Cindy Hill, and Mike McDempsey (Teresa); grandchildren, Brittani Payne, Kaylyn Parr, Kristen Olinde, Jordyn McDempsey, Sarah McDempsey, Michael McDempsey, Justin Greaud, and Hope Amond; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Greaud; her fur baby, Peyton; and a host of other family members.
Lynette is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward McDempsey, Sr.; sons, Charles Edward McDempsey, Jr. and Steven Craig Greaud; parents and 11 siblings. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Clarity Hospice, especially Nurses Blair and Danielle, aid, Doris, and Ms. Crystal, for the excellent care they gave to Mom. Greenoaks handled arrangements.
