
Mable Johnson Walker passed away at the golden age of 90 on Sunday November 2, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Mable was a living example Of God's blessing in a mother, Proverbs 31:25-30. Her language of love was spoken in her tireless devotion to her family. Mable was a resident of Central, Louisiana and a native of Mount Hermon, Louisiana and is survived by six children, her daughters Janet Baze, husband RC, Virginia Keller, husband Steve, Louise Redmond, husband Monroe and sons Harold Walker, wife Connie, Greg Walker, wife Amanda and Lonnie Walker, wife Terri. Mable leaves a beautiful legacy to her twenty-six grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Mable was preceded in death by her husband Malcom Walker, daughter Maxine Dedon, son Joe Walker, and two grandchildren Eric Dedon and Renee Ford. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Wednesday November 5th from 5 pm until 8 pm and resumes Thursday November 6th from 8 am until religious services at 10 am conducted by Pastor Jay Coleman of Journey Church were Mable attended and her great grandson Youth Pastor Drew Galloway of First Pentecostal Church of Bogalusa. Pallbearers will be Lonnie, Wesley, Cody, Patrick and Matthew Walker along with Steven and Justin Keller and Robert Redmond. Honorary Pallbearer will be Derek Nystrom.
