

Mandy Jeansonne Poche, a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Paulina, LA, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2017, at her home at the age of 41. A 1994 graduate of Riverside Academy and a 1999 graduate of Louisiana State University, she met and married the love of her life, Troas Poche, in the town of Paulina where they raised their two beautiful girls, Breanna and Brilee. She loved to perform and left an extensive career in both film and modeling. Mandy was happiest when dancing, working in the film industry and raising her girls. She was also an active member of St. James Community Church in Paulina.
Mandy is best remembered for her beautiful smile, bright blue eyes and fierce love for her family. Mandy is survived by her husband of 21 years, Troas Poche; two daughters, Breanna and Brilee; her mother, Glenda Bonin Jeansonne; her sister, Tammy Jeansonne Cheatham and husband, Lee, and their children; her brother, Jeremy Jeansonne and wife, Jessi, and their children; her grandparents, Glen and Georgia Bonin, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and so many dear friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Tommy Jeansonne; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Guy J. Poche and Doris A. Poche and brother-in-law, Guy “Mitch” Poche. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Thursday, June 29, from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00 PM. Pastor Larry Rocquin will be officiating the service. Burial will immediately follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers: Mike Bonin, Lee Cheatham, Jude Poche, Brad Poche, Todd Poche, Craig Poche. Honorary pallbearers and special friends are Joey Credidio and Amy O’Bryant.
