Marcus W. Cain, Sr., a native of Vidalia and resident of Baton Rouge, he passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 83. He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter and loved spending weekends at his camp. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Cain; mother, Ruth Cain; his beloved wife of 42 years Janice W. Cain and a brother, Eddie Cain. He is survived by his children Donna Canella, Marcus W. Cain, Jr., Robert D. Cain and Debra Watson and husband Jerry Watson; sisters, Barbara Roberts and husband Lee Roberts and Alice Knight and husband John Knight; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved to spoil; and a very special friend that meant the world to him, Ms. Lynn Sumrall.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9am-12pm. Funeral services will begin at 12pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
