Margaret Hotard

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away, Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at the age of 86. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church who loved to garden. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Elmo Hotard; three daughters, Renita Dixon and husband, Cliff, Laurie LaFrance, and Mary Hotard; three sons, Vincent Hotard and wife, Brenda, Merrill Hotard and wife, Pamela, and Curtis Hotard; one sister, Lucille Gendron; two brothers, Nolan Simon and Raymond Simon; six grandchildren, Mark Hotard and wife, Katie, Kelly Hooper, Tara Dixon, Eric Dixon and wife, Jannean, Jared LaFrance, and Jacob LaFrance and girlfriend, Krystle; and five great grandchildren, Jordan, Kamryn, and Riley Hooper, and Lily and Kate Dixon. She is preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Sophie Simon; three sisters, Rosalie Bacas, Odette Simon, and Rosemary Luquette; and three brothers, Bill Simon, Elmore Simon, and Gaston Simon. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 6 PM until 9 PM. Visitation will resume at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, March 28, 2014, from 9 AM until funeral mass at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
