
A resident of Ethel and a former longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she died on Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Butterfly Wing of Hospice of Baton Rouge. She was 81, and a native of Brusly St. Martin. She was the retired co-owner, along with her husband, Frank Vaccaro, of Delmont Restaurant in Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Sunday, March 30, was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation continues at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary on Monday, March 31, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., celebrated by the Rev. Jeffery Bayhi. There will be a recitation of the holy rosary at 9:15 a.m. Interment will be in Colonial Cemetery in Independence, following a graveside service at 1 p.m. She is survived by her daughter, Vanessa Vince and her husband, Joey Vince, of Ethel; two sons, Craig Vaccaro and his wife, Luanne, of St. Francisville, and Frank Vaccaro, of Plaquemine; a sister, Gerry Coupel, of Brusly St. Martin; a sister-in-law, Annie Vaccaro, of Independence; and four grandchildren, A.J. Vaccaro, Marisa Lees, Chris Vaccaro and Seth Vaccaro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vaccaro Sr.; her infant daughter, Tamra; her son, Brett Vaccaro; her parents, Andre and Odile Hebert; her sisters, Edna Ingolia, Esther Mollere, Florence Theriot, Olive Kerek, Lanny Schatzle, Ella Marroy, Beatrice Kerek and Blanch Landry; and by her brothers, Lawrence Hebert and Raymond Hebert. Serving as pallbearers will be A.J. Vaccaro, Seth Vaccaro, Justin Lees, Freddie Hebert, Sid Waguespack, Stephen Waguespack, Neil Marroy and Joey Vince. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary. The family wishes to express our deepest thanks to Dr. T.R.
