
Marjorie G. Theriot, a native of Ditchingham, Norfolk, England, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. She was 91 and a resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baker, on Thursday, Jan. 15, from 8:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She is survived by a sister, Joyce Gorbell; brother, Russel Gorbell; daughter, Sister Mary Ellen Theriot, S.S.N.D., Chatawa, Miss.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter B. and Carol Theriot, Tulsa, Okla., Charles C. and Rachael Theriot, Houma, and John Mark and Beverly Theriot, Plaquemine; 10 grandchildren, Gabrielle Hernandez, Antoinette Theriot-Heim, Simone Maloz, Amber Johnson, Peter B. Theriot Jr., Robert Theriot, Joy Aikens, Jeremy Hebert, Justin Hebert and Evan Theriot; and 13 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry B. Theriot; parents, Charles and Ellen Chalker Gorbell; son, Harry Paul Theriot; two sisters, Constance Gorbell Pratt and Eva Gorbell; and sister-in-law, Joan Gorbell.
