A retired employee of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center with 26 years of service, she died Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was 85, a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Fredericksburg, Va. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Saturday from noon until religious service at 1 p.m. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by a son, Zane J. Whittington; nine grandchildren, Laura Hartley, Cinamon Anderson, Delilah Heatherly, Lee Paul Weber, Zane Jay Whittington, Sean Jeffrey Whittington, Joshua Michael Ducote, Katie Lynn Whittington and Sara Elise Whittington; and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Lee Burnett Whittington; daughter, Inger Lee Weber; two sons, Forrest and Eric Whittington; and six sisters.
