Curtis, Mary DurbinMary was a retired bookkeeper, a native of Independence and a resident of Central. She died at 6:00pm Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Harvest Manor of Denham Springs. Mary graduated from Independence High School in 1946 at age 16. Visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, Saturday from 10:00am until the religious service in the Chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Mary is survived by her daughter: Carla J. Curtis; son: Timothy Curtis; sister: Sara Sturdivant. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carleton Curtis; her parents: James H.&Irene Calmes Durbin; one sister, an infant sister and three brothers.
