Mary Lou G. West, 89, native of Plaquemine, LA and resident of Greenwell Springs, LA passed on Wednesday, June 01, 2016. Mary Lou G. West was a long time member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She is survived by loving her husband of over 68 years, Harvey West; son, Richard West (wife Mary); daughter, Mary Lee “Lee” Watts (husband Richard); grandchildren, Monica West, Lindsay Jendryk (husband Bradley), Allyson Watts Chiro (husband Jordan), and Jennifer Cowart (husband Courtney); and great grandchildren, Madeline and Kyler Bridges, RJ and Annie LeBlanc, Weston Jendryk, Zach, Hayes, Ben and Macy Cowart. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Jeanette Diaz Garantine; 3 brothers; and 3 sisters. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 9:30 am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am located at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (Greenwell Springs, LA) conducted by Rev. Mike Moroney. Interment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Greenoaks Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, LA.
