Mattie D. Henry, 101, a native of New Hope, Arkansas and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Tuesday, August 14, 2012. A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Mattie will be missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Patsy Yglesias Morales; great grandchildren: Lacey Nicole Ivey, Blake Yglesias, Michael Yglesias, and Tracey Yglesias; niece Billie Ann Hart; and nephews: John William Jolley and wife Lisa, and Robert Jolley and wife Scarlet. She is preceded in death by her husband of 80+ years Weldon R. Henry; sister Klover Pickering; brother Henry F. Jolley; and grandchildren: Michael, Robert, William, and Claudette “Sissy” Yglesias. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, August 16, 2012 from 5pm until 8pm and continuing on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 10am until time of services at 12pm. Interment will immediately follow in Greenoaks Memorial Parks.
