A resident of Zachary and a native and former longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Lane Nursing Home, Zachary. She was 94. She was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School, attended LSU and was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Thursday, Sept. 8, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Graveside service will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her great-niece, Mimmie Coleman, of Carrolton, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Monroe Anderson; infant daughter; parents, William Thomas Cox and Edith Lard Cox; and two sisters, Thelma Cox and Lillie Graham. Pallbearers will be Taylor and Tanner Shaw, Larry and Barry Trotti, Marcus Mashon and Norris Suire.
