Mimmie was born Mildred Beatrice Cronin on July 20, 1926, in Vicksburg, Miss., to her parents, Lester Edward Cronin and Lucy Breland Cronin. She went home to be with her Lord at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9, 2012, at the age of 85 at her home. Her son and daughter-in-law will receive friends and visitors at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East on Friday, Jan. 13, from noon to 2 p.m., followed by graveside service at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Carolyn M. Cronin. She is also survived by three sisters, four brothers, five grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and her three beloved pets, Todd Edward, Rudy Man and Snuggles Girl, who will miss their nightly cookie treats from her. Preceded in death by her husband, Joe H. Williams; son, Joey Len Willams; father and mother, Lester and Lucy Cronin; Ella "Lee" Cronin Reid, Amber "Billie" Cronin Ramage, Mickey Cronin Gomez, Robbie Cronin Billiot and Debra Denise Cronin; and special friend, Bill Edwards.
