
Mollie Stanton Nobile, a native of Baton Rouge, was born Sept. 25, 1980, and passed away unexpectedly at her residence Saturday, May 15, 2010, at age 29. She was a recent graduate of the LSU School of Social Work and worked for Capital Area Human Services District's Assertive Community Treatment Program providing intensive treatment to the families of troubled youth. She is survived by her parents, Hugh B. Nobile, of Baton Rouge, and Catherine S. Nobile, of Shreveport; sister, Anna Cason Nobile, of Boston; grandmother, Byrnie H. Smith, of Monroe; and uncles and aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Smith, of Monroe, Mr. and Mrs. A.J. "Buzzy" Nobile. of Convent, and Donna N. Derks, of Madisonville. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. A. J. Nobile, Dr. W. E. Smith Jr.; and uncle, Charles S. Smith. She was dearly loved by her family and many friends. Visitation at the First United Methodist Church, 930 North Blvd., Baton Rouge, Thursday, May 20, from 9 a.m. until a memorial service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Chris Andrews officiating.
