A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-greatgrandmother, Myrtle passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at Carrington Place of Baton Rouge. She was 97, a resident of Baton Rouge, and a native of Walls. Visitation at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 445 Marquette Ave., on Monday Feb. 27, from 9 a.m until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Myrtle is survived by five daughters, Sybil Patin Hill, Lavern Patin Bajoie, Juanita Patin Turner and husband Leo, Clara Patin Deculus and husband David, and Carol Patin Moses; son, Cecil C. Patin and wife Loyce; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford Joseph Patin; son, Baby Patin; daughter, Louise Patin; and grandson, Shay Guillory. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
