Natalie Ann Cook Stiltner was born on July 14, 1966 in Big Spring, TX and passed away on April 15, 2025 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Cook (RN), and father Lt. Col. Loyal Scott Cook. She is survived by her husband Mike Stiltner, child Bri Howell, stepsons Clarke, Jacob, and Noah Stiltner, her "favorite" brother Scott Cook, sister-in-law Paula Cook, and niece Meredith Cook.
Natalie graduated with a BBA in Accounting from Southwest Texas State University and later with a Master's Degree in ISDS from LSU. She was both a CPA and Certified Internal Auditor, working in the insurance industry for over 20 years, mostly with LWCC; as Undersecretary for the Louisiana Department of Revenue and then Culture Recreation and Tourism; and finally as the owner of an accounting consulting company, CFO Source of Louisiana providing CFO services to small businesses.
Natalie had many passions that defined her, the primary one being her family. She was also very passionate about her church and covenant group, fashion, animal rescue, art, music, and travel.
A funeral service and celebration of life will take place at First United Methodist Church on Saturday May 3rd at 11:30. Visitation at the church will precede the service beginning at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cat Haven of Baton Rouge.
