Ms. Ngoc Anh Nguyen

A devoted daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, Ngoc Anh Nguyen peacefully departed to be with her heavenly Father Wednesday, August 24, 2016, surrounded by her family at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital at the age of 39.

A native of New Orleans, Ngoc was born on August 2, 1977. She spent most of her life in Baton Rouge and was a graduate of Louisiana State University. She was a dedicated employee at CDI Engineering. A free spirited, adventurous person, she lived life to the fullest. She loved travelling, shopping, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew her would say she was a kind-hearted person who often thought of others before herself. She had a contagious smile that would light up any room. We will be forever grateful to "Lu-Lu," as she was affectionately known by many, for the love and joy she brought to our lives, and she will live in our hearts forever.

Left to forever treasure her memory are her parents, Tai Nguyen and Tin Vu; sister Men and husband Maximo; sister Yen and husband Jimmy; brother Trung and wife Tummie; brothers Hieu, Hanh, and Daniel; nephews Aaron and Linc; nieces Alina, Gwen and Olivia; grandmother Sang Nguyen and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Ngoc was preceded in death by her grandfathers Ai Nguyen and Chat Nguyen; grandmother Nhu Nguyen and sister Mandy Nguyen.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held on Wednesday, August 31 and Thursday September 1, 2016 at Green Oaks Funeral Home from 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm.

Visitation will continue on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 8:30 am -10:00 am. Funeral service will follow from 10:00 am -11:00 am.
