Okley John Broussard was born January 31, 1925 and died January 8, 2014. He was 88 years old. He is survived by his wife of 65 years Joy Crotwell Broussard, three children Oklynn Broussard, Stephen Broussard, and Shanna Ray and son-in-law John Ray, and sister Ruby Chaney. Okley , a WW II veteran, served his country in the US Army. He fought in Germany, France and Belgium under George Patton and Dwight D. Eisenhower. Visitation will be at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd. on Friday January 10th from 5pm to 8pm. Visiting continues at the funeral home on Saturday January 11, 2014 from 10am till service time at 12pm. He was preceded in death by his parents Dave L. and Ella Broussard, five brothers Rufus, Louis, D.L., Carl, and Pearlie Broussard, three sisters Opal Broussard, Pearl Cowart, and Ganell Knippers.
