
A retired BellSouth Telephone Co. employee and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 85 and a native of Ponchatoula. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes Thursday from 8 a.m. until the religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Merlin Liverman. Interment service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, Pine Grove. She is survived by a daughter, Grace T. Allen, of Baton Rouge; two sons, Edward "Buddy" Terrell and wife Judy, and John L. Terrell, all of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Jean Porter, of Senatobia, Miss., and Clara Weathers, of Hernando, Miss.; six grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward James Terrell; mother, Ella Louise Moore; father, William Zeb Linton; sister, Ada Cox; and brothers, Joe and Willie Linton. Pallbearers will be Kevin Terrell, Paul Daigle, John Donald King, Ronnie Daigle, Brad Robinson and Mark Lambert. Honorary pallbearers are Byron Douglas, Logan Edwards, Taylor Higgins and Ethan Terrell.
