

Oswald “Bob” “Ozzie” Germain Duhon, a loving partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to anyone who knew him, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday November 4, 2025, at the age of 71. Ozzie was a 1973 graduate of Redemptorist High School. Ozzie never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. He was retired from BASF and lover of antique cars. Resident of Port Allen and native of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St Baton Rouge, LA 70802. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM until services at 1:00PM, Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery, Baton Rouge.
Ozzie is survived by his loving partner Julie. Children Lloyd (Melanie), D.J.(Beth), Missy (Justin), and Jacie (William). Grandchildren Erik (Nicole), Tyler, Juno, Mason, Lloyd, Olivia, Brady, Amelia, Chance, Will (Nicole), Jordon, Tyce, Kaysen, Whitley, Annie, Blake, and Maggie. Great-grandchildren Skyler, Raelynn, Adelyn, Tatum, Ezekiel, James, Arlo, and Athena. Siblings Donna (Darrell) and Van (Peggy).
Preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Dorothy Simoneaux and brother Lloyd Duhon.
Ozzie had a passion for cooking, gardening and had the ability to fix anything and everything. His biggest passion was his 1929 Hot Rod, which he built from the ground up. He met many friends who became family through the Swamp Neck Rodz car club & enjoyed attending car shows and weekly dinners on Thursday nights. Cruisin the Coast in Biloxi, Mississippi was on of his favorite yearly events. Ozzie never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He had a kind heart and always put others before himself. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
