A native and resident of Baton Rouge, Paige passed away on May 5, 2016. Paige was a graduate of University Lab School and LSU. While very private, if Paige crossed your path, you remembered her forever. Paige was a better hunter than most men, and also wouldn't hurt fleas or any of God's creatures, unless they were hurting each other. Paige had patience and persistence on the scale of Job, and backed by God. Paige is survived by her husband, Randall Peterson; Diana, Blackie, Moma and Alphonce (3 cats and a possum); her parents, Kirk and Rachel Williams III; sisters, Rayne Williams Carpenter (husband Dwayne), and Aaron Williams Dickson (husband Stuart); nieces and nephews, Morgan, Jordon, and Taylor Allan, and Sophia and Jack Bergeron, Blaise Carpenter, and niece and goddaughter, Mary Leigh Williams; aunt and godmother, Ruthie Allan; aunt, Julie Bergeron (husband Andrew); uncle, Gary Allan (wife Kara); uncle, George Donnard Williams; great uncles, Richard Rod, Reginald Rod, Carl J. Schoonmaker, and Calvin Schoonmaker; and a very large extended family too numerous to mention. Preceded in death by grandparents, Bernadette Marie and Kirk Elbert Williams Jr., and Dorothea Jane and Donald Keith Allan. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, at St. James Episcopal Church, located at 205 N. 4th St., Baton Rouge, LA 70801, from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sisters of Charity Ministry in New Orleans, or the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency, are welcomed.
