Patricia DeCuir Honore'

Patricia Ann "Patsy" Decuir Honoré, 67, was born May 20, 1942, and died Wednesday, June 10, 2009. She was a resident and native of Baton Rouge. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 10 years. Prior to that, she was an East Baton Rouge Parish school system employee for 10 years. An active member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, she belonged to the Third Order of Mary, Schoenstatt Pilgrimage Rosary Group, Our Lady Queen of Peace Weekly Rosary Group and the Legion of Mary. She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary faithfully every day. Survived by her husband of 47 years, Tyrone J. Honoré Sr., of Baton Rouge; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Madonna and Bertrand Thibodeaux, of Baton Rouge, Rise and Mark Patin, of Erwinville, Vanessa Dove, of Port Allen, Patrice and Louis Gremillion Sr., of Erwinville, Tyra and Jacques Honoré Sr., of Prairieville, and Raquel and André Fuselier, of Livonia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tyrone J. Jr. and Lisa Honoré, of Erwinville, and Jamie and Tonya Honoré, of Port Allen; 18 grandchildren, Megan and Donovan Thibodeaux, Justin and Jordan Patin, Lucas and Logan Dove, Louis Eric Jr. and Zachary Gremillion, Jacques Jr. and Jacob Honoré, Tyler, Hannah and Holly Honoré, Austin, Hunter and Landon Fuselier, and Jacoby and Ashley Honoré. She is also survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Eula Mae and Donald Bertrand, of Baton Rouge, Carolyn and Paul Bassett Sr., of Port Allen, and Delores Hornsby, of Chino Hills, Calif.; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Frank Jr. and Norma DeCuir, of Long Beach, Calif., Alvin Sr. and Mary Ola DeCuir, of Baton Rouge, Dallas DeCuir, of Lafayette, and Ronald Sr. and Bettie Rose DeCuir, of Baton Rouge; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank Sr. and Ethel DeCuir; and son-in-law, Wayne Dove. Visitation at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 740 East Blvd., on Monday, June 15, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at noon, with recitation of the rosary at 11 a.m. The Rev. Monsignor Robert H. Berggreen will celebrate the Mass. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Pallbearers will be Tyrone Honoré Jr., Jamie Honoré, Bertrand Thibodeaux, Mark Patin, Louis Gremillion Sr., Jacques Honoré Sr. and Andre Fuselier. Honorary pallbearers are Frank DeCuir Jr., Dallas DeCuir, Alvin DeCuir Sr., Ronald DeCuir Sr., Ronald Honoré, Paul Bassett Sr., Donald Bertrand, Anthony Rozier, Wayne Darensbourg and Herbert Ricard Sr. Special thanks to her doctors, William A.
