Patricia Ann O'Brien

O'Brien, Patricia "Pat" Ann (Fox)Patricia Ann O'Brien, a native of Albuquerque, NM, and after residing in many places around the country and abroad, became a resident of Baton Rouge twenty-three years ago. She passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the age of 65.  Pat enjoyed traveling to visit friends from the places she lived, a good cup of coffee with her friends at Brew Ha-Ha, and was a loving wife, mother, and friend.  She was a 1968 graduate of Saint Pius X Catholic High School in Albuquerque, NM, parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, and will be remembered as a trusted friend and mother with a very generous heart.  She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.  Left to treasure her memory is her husband of 27 years Stephen "Steve" O'Brien of Baton Rouge, LA; her son Joseph Michael O'Brien of Houston, TX; and brother Michael Fox (wife Dianna) of Georgetown, TX.  She was preceded in death by her parents Edwin and Grace Fox.  Visitation will be at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70806) on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 9:00 AM until the Memorial Mass at 10:30 AM.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Fox, Bobby DeAngelo, William Root, Kevin Mayer, Hunter Botts, and Danny Fontenot.  The O'Brien family would like to express their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Peter S. Amenta, MD, Aimee Aysenne, MD, and all the nurses of the Neuro-Intensive Care Unit of Tulane University Medical Center for their care and support.  Memorial donations may be made in Pat's memory to Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church (445 Marquette Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70806).
